To celebrate the 100th anniversary of one of the milestones in Breitling's history, the first independent chronograph push-piece in a wristwatch, at the 2015 Baselworld the brand presented its commemorative edition of the Transocean Chronograph. As its name suggests, created in 1915 the Transocean became a very popular timepiece among professional pilots for its ability to count laps which was very handy thanks to its independent pusher for start, stop and reset functions. This brilliant creation laid the foundations for future professional wristwatches and became an almost indispensable feature in modern chronographs. Keeping the elegance that Gaston Breitling looked for in every design, this re-edition preserves its predecessors aesthetics with a fresh and attractive style to make its retro look even stronger. This limited edition to 1.915 pieces worldwide, has as its main characteristic a new manufacture hand-wound movement caliber Breitling 14 with a 70 hour power reserve that can be seen through its sapphire crystal case back. Only those who appreciate the exquisite Swiss manufacture will find in the Breitling Transocean Chronograph 1915 Limited Edition the stamp of an impecable taste in a unique and exclusive timepiece.
